What Is Behind The Causes Of
A Panic Attack Disorder?
One of the most common questions people have about anxiety
or panic attacks is, what causes them? Unfortunately, there are
many reasons why, but one of the most common reasons is very
high stress or anxiety. Finding out the reasons behind what is
causing a panic attack disorder is the first step in learning
to overcome them.
Without question, we all experience anxiety in our lives
every day we wake up, but it is how we manage that anxiety that
is the key to living healthier. This is a big reason why people
can live to be in their 80's, 90's or even upwards of 100
years. When you talk to these older adults they all pretty much
agree that they effectively manage stress and anxiety. They
don't allow themselves to stress and anxiety. They don't allow
themselves to be effected by everyday things.
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is the fear or apprehension of anticipating a threat
or situation, be it real or imagined. Naturally, you may wonder
why people still have panic attacks when there is no real
threat or situation happening?
The symptoms of panic attacks can easily be set off by
underlying stress in your subconscious mind.
You can often be experiencing high levels of anxiety, but in
your conscious mind you don't even know it. But, your body may
be aware of it and will act on it.
Another reason can be the fight/flight response that our
body's use when presented with a danger. It's our body's way of
springing us into action and protecting itself.
When you have a panic attack you may even notice these kinds
of responses and emotions. With that said, the fight/flight
theory doesn't explain why people still get panic attacks in
low or no stress situations.
